Participating as SMCBA Makes San Mateo a Greener Place to Live, Work & Play
Membership in San Mateo Bird Alliance is an investment in the future, for the birds, their habitats, and your community. We are one of the most dynamic Audubon chapters in the state, but we need your active participation to continue the struggle for conservation and to enhance the citizen-science, fun, and camaraderie of birding!
If you have joined National Audubon Society, you are automatically made a 'member' of your corresponding local chapter. However, the many local activities that San Mateo Bird Alliance undertakes – Christmas Bird Counts, involvement in local conservation issues, outreach to educational institutions – are not funded by National Audubon Society. We need you to join SMCBA directly, if we are to continue and expand the good work we are doing together. Thank you for your support!

Local chapter members are eligible to receive the San Mateo Bird Alliance newsletter,
with current information on field trips, meetings and other activities.
